Went to the ArcLight Theater tonight in Hollywood to watch "Memoirs of a Geisha."
Without question, the cinematography is gorgeous. But I just didn't find the story of a young girl sold into the life of a Geisha near the end of the Japanese Imperial era -- and her survival after WWII to be very interesting.
At least the ArcLight has a cool display of movie costumes to look at (photo above).
Celebrity Sighting: Matt Dillon was coming out of the theater as I was going in. I wonder what movie he saw?
