For the past 10 years (at least) GeezBob, Rui and I have been going to Langer's for lunch nearly every Saturday.
And Eveline (who has worked there for 15 years) has been our waitress. She's been talking about it for years, but now she really is retiring -- on December 28.
We'll miss her funny sense of humor and Scottish accent. Plus, now who am I going to talk USC football and Dodger baseball with?
I'm something of a creature of habit, so I was a little shocked today when Rui suggested that with Eveline no longer going to be at Langer's we should consider going to Canter's instead.
