Went to see "Stranger Than Fiction" this afternoon. Will Ferrell is nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture -- Comedy or Muscial.

Don't ask my why he was nominated. He did a fine job -- but it's not that remarkable of a performance. Perhaps Ferrell benefited from low expectations.

I couldn't really get past the nonsense plot. A fictional character can "hear" the author writing his story as a voice in his head. I can suspend reality as well as the next guy -- but the movie never gives a plausible explanation for how this is possible.
