Saw a funny new movie tonight called "Adam & Steve."
It's about two guys who meet at a club in New York City in 1987 and have a date that goes horribly, tragically wrong.
They meet again 17 years later without recognizing each other at first.
Parker Posey is very funny as a terrible stand-up comedian.
And playing against type, Chris Kattan plays one of the guys' straight roommate jealous his roomie is successfully dating.
This well-done comedy includes lots of visual jokes and witty dialogue.
A couple of the pivotal scenes were shot at Marie's Crisis -- a NYC piano bar where I had fun drinking and singing with Renee Rose last June. So that was fun to see too.
