It must be party time in the 818. USC opened its basketball season this afternoon against the California State University Northridge Matadors.

The game went into overtime, but the Trojans lost.

This was the first game of the final season for the Trojans in the Sports Arena. Next year they will play in the brand new Galen Center, which is currently under construction.
