All Growed Up

Sat through "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" -- nominated for Achievement in Art Direction -- at the truly cheesy Vine Theater (2 movies for $7) on Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood.

Actually this movie theater isn't so bad on the inside -- if you don't mind a few people snoring and some others hocking up flem. It's big enough inside you can pick a zone away from others -- and they seem to keep it pretty clean.

I don't really know what "Art Direction" for a movie is. But I've hated every Harry Potter movie, and this one is no different. The only difference is the "kid" actors are now in their 20s, so it seems pretty preposterous that they're still attending school at Hogwarts. It should have been nominated for Best Makeup for covering up their pimples.

But most importantly, it's another checkmark on my Academy Awards nominee list.
