Mystery Solved

The movie "Stealth" came out a few weeks ago and its disappointing Box Office set off another wave of news articles about Hollywood's disappointing summer. Lots of studio executives were quoted on their latest theory on why fewer people were going to movies this year than last.

But I don't remember any of them saying "Stealth didn't sell many tickets because it's no good." But I'll write it. "Stealth" stinks.

It's the uninteresting story of a drone jet fighter that is given the capability to "think." But it doesn't have a "soul" until a human pilot (Josh Lucas) shows it what "keeping your word" really means.

Jaime Fox basically sleep-walks through the movie.

There's no guarantee if Hollywood makes a good picture people will turn out to see it. But if you make a clunker, you get what you deserve.
