Oscar Clean-Up

My sleep cycle is all messed up. My batteries run out early in the evening and so I go to sleep. Then my eyes pop open at 2 a.m. and I'm wide awake. That's why I'm blogging at 3:30 in the morning.

There are still a few movies nominated for an Academy Award that I haven't seen still running in Los Angeles. Tonight I went to see "Days of Glory," a French film nominated for Best Foreign Language Film. It's about men from French colonies in Northern Africa who fought for France against the Nazis in WWII despite being treated as second-class citizens by the French.

It was particularly interesting to me because I was in Morocco just last month.
