Danny Hoch's new one-man show, "Taking Over" is currently running at the Kirk Douglas Theater in Culver City. I caught it Saturday night.

Hoch recreates several character on stage representing all sides of the regentrification of the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn.

But Hoch makes it abundantly clear his perspective is sympathetic to the long time residents being run off by the influx of hipsters. Hoch actually makes a case for the "good old days" when Williamsburg was a giant crack den. At least back then it was affordable.
