Maybe a Rose Isn't Always a Rose

Saw the relatively new Bill Murray movie, "Broken Flowers" tonight. It's about an over-the-hill Don Juan who receives an anonymous letter saying he fathered a child 20-years ago. Murray's character, Don Johnston (yes, Don Johnston), sets out to find the five women from his past who might have been the Mother.

Despite an interesting premise not much really happens. I don't know what the Director expects us to take away from the movie.

But any picture that gives meaty roles to Frances Conroy, Jessica Lange and Sharon Stone can't be all bad.
