Heroes Day Parade

In commemoration of 9/11 and the victims of Hurricane Katrina, the Dodgers honored fire fighters, police officers, deputy sheriffs, highway patrolmen, FBI agents and active duty military on the field before the game today.

It was a respectful ceremony that didn't stray into propaganda for the Iraq War.

And the Dodgers went on to beat the Padres 7 to 3 and now trail in the division race by 6 games with 20 left to be played.
