For today's matinee we saw the revival of Clifford Odets' "Awake and Sing" at the Belaso Theater. It's about a Jewish family struggling to make it through the Depression. Stars in the cast include Lauren Ambrose, Ben Gazzara, Zoe Wanamaker and Mark Ruffalo.

Odet was one of America's leading playwright's in the 1930 and this revival is taking place in the same theater the play originally ran in.

It was a great production with amazing acting and great writing.
