Dodgers Rookie Catcher Russell Martin was one of the first players out for fans to take photos.

Martin came up to catch when Dioner Navarro was injured, and the Dodgers have won 20 of the 25 games he's caught.

The L.A. Times had a great story today about how this Canadian player is saving up money to fly his Father from Montreal to see him catch in the big leagues. Big Russ, as his Father is known, makes his living as a street musician -- mostly on Montreal's subway season.

Little Russ, as the Catcher is known, said what a thrill it would be to hear his Dad play the National Anthem before a game. Unfortunately, his sax is broken right now. Posted by Picasa
