Students stormed the court at the Galen Center after the Trojan's Mens Basketball team defeated the venerable University of Arizona Wildcats 80 to 73 tonight.
The Wildcats were rated 15th in the nation, so it's a great upset for the Trojans and the first truly exhilarating game at the Galen Center. (Last Saturday's game came close when the Trojans nearly beat the Bruins, but came up on the short end of the 65 to 64 score).
Perfect timing for a great game as I'm leaving on Friday on a 47-day around-the-world adventure.
First stop is Rio de Janeiro. I'm flying to Washington Dulles Friday afternoon and connecting to an overnight flight to Rio leaving Friday night.
