Went to see a nice little show with a good gimmick (you gotta have a gimmick) Saturday night -- the West Coast premiere production of "Songs From an Unmade Bed" at the Celebration Theater in West Hollywood.

One singer sings eighteen songs (no book) with the lyrics by Mark Campbell and the music by eighteen different composers -- that would be your gimmick.

The theme is love and life in the big city (NYC) making the show especially timely for me as I'm off to the Big Apple on Tuesday night.
