My friend, Dave Hannon, invited me to attend tonight's Dodgers vs. Cubs game and I was pleased to go -- on his dime.
In one of the strangest choices I've ever seen, David Hiller -- the publisher of the Los Angeles Times -- sang the National Anthem.
Apparently you don't need to be a good singer to be a newspaper publisher. Can't wait to read what J.T. Simers (the Times' in-house grouch of a sports columnist) has to write about it.
