Went to the Hollywood Bowl this evening for the last time this year. This weekend marks the final concerts by John Mauceria as the Conductor of the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra.

I'm sorry to see him go. His concerts are always the best at the Hollywood Bowl. (He's off to the North Carolina College of the Arts in Winston-Salem.)

Tonight's program was ecclectic. It included music specifically written for this weekend, ballet, special guests and even "America the Beautiful."
