Ted Green Would

I'm spending tonight at the Embassy Suites Hotel Mandalay Beach Resort -- on the beach in Oxnard -- or as some people call it, "North Malibu."

I used to be loyal to the Oxnard Hilton, mostly because I liked saying it's name -- but sadly that hotel has been rebranded.

The Embassy Suites is a nice enough hotel -- too bad the fog had rolled in by the time I got here late in the afternoon.

In a weird, small-world sort of way, the name of the Front Desk Clerk who checked me in is "Ted Greenwood."

According to his name tag, he is originally from Santa Monica, also known as "South Malibu."
