Day 3 -- The Indian Pacific stopped for about three hours in Adelaide and we had the chance to take a good bus tour around town. 

Day 3 -- A cool looking pub in Adelaide.

Day 3 -- Two nights after leaving Perth the Indian Pacific changed crews in Adelaide. Here the new crew welcomes passengers boarding (and reboarding) in Adelaide. 

Day 3 -- Broken Hill is the site of the world's largest deposit of silver, lead and zinc, having yielded minerals worth many billions of dollars throughout its mining history. 

Day 3 -- The Royal Flying Doctor Service provides emergency medical service (free of charge) to residents of Australia's Outback. With 20 bases throughout Australia they can get to anyone in need within 2 hours.
