Traveler wore Number 19 on his haunches in honor of Mario Danelo, USC's late placekicker who died in January in a fall off of cliffs in San Pedro.

Also in tribute to Danelo the first time USC kicked for an extra point the team took a delay-of-game penalty as the "waited" for Danelo to come on the field to kick the ball. It took the crowd a minute to figure out what was going on, but once understood everyone was very touched by the gesture.
