Sunday night I went to see Randy Newman perform at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. Saw my first Christmas Tree of the year.

I only knew Newman as the man behind "Short People" and "I Love L.A." I was surprised at how political and sarcastic most of his songs are -- including more then a couple about race relations.
