Saturday night I had dinner in the delightful patio garden at Pane e Vino on Beverly in West Hollywood. I've heard many folks say Pane e Vino has the most beautiful garden for dining in Los Angeles.

My dear friend, Pam Taylor, was visiting from Kentucky along with two friends of hers. They flew into San Jose and have spent a few days driving south along the coast. It was a joy to hear about their adventures along the way. Can't believe I've still never visited Hearst Castle -- I need to do something about that.
