Friday night I went with my friend, Dave Hannon, to the El Centro Theater to see "Anita Bryant Died For Your Sins."
Brilliantly written, by Brian Christopher Williams, this play is a coming of age story set in the 60s and 70s. The main character is one year older than I am, so it was quite a trip down memory lane. Imagine a play that can make you nostalgic for the odd/even gas rationing of the late 70s! And while I remember the Bicentennial fondly, I'm glad my Mom didn't redecorate the house in red, white and blue.
