Had an excellent Brisket of Beef sandwich at Katz' Deli on the Lower East Side. That's where the famous "I'll have what she's having" scene from "When Harry Met Sally" was filmed.

Afterwards I went to see the Golden Globe nominated movie, "Bobby." I really wanted to enjoy this movie, but it's a mess -- filled with pretentious writing.

I did enjoy seeing their recreation of the Ambassador Hotel. In 1983 & 1984 I lived a couple blocks from the Ambassador and regularly snuck into the pool.
