The Trojans came into the Rose Bowl today with their heads held high and left with their tails between their legs as the Bruins beat the Trojans 13 to 9, denying the Trojans the opportunity to play in the National Championship Game.
Now the Trojans will instead play in the Rose Bowl Game, the grandaddy of them all, on New Year's Day. I'm in the lottery for tickets this year and I'm supposed to find out in less than 48 hours if I get to buy a couple.
