I was in the Coachella Valley on Wednesday night and Thursday and stayed at the Westin Mission Hills Resort. The hotel was empty and the rates were really low, in part -- I think -- because the golf course was closed for its annual re-seeding. Temperatures have started coming down, it only got up to the mid-90s.
