Marian Seldes came out of the Stage Door second and was very generous with her time, signing autographs and chatting with people waiting to see her. I told her I'd been a fan since seeing her in "Three Tall Women" at the Promenade Theater. She told me how much she enjoyed being in that show and how often people mention that particular performance to her. She reminisced that after the show's run in New York she took it out on the road. I let her know I'd seen her in the show a second time when she performed at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles. She seemed touched. What a star!
