Friday afternoon, with some free time on my hands, I visited the ultra-deluxe grocery store, Draeger's, in downtown San Mateo. I was impressed by its diversity and quality of shopping options. I particularly liked the aisle of "ethnic" food with items sorted under various national flags. It was funny to see just a sliver of shelf space dedicated to products like taco shells and chiles under the flag of Mexico. Toto, I don't think we're in Southern California anymore.
