Had a chance on Wednesday to catch Alan Ball's ("Six Feet Under" & "American Beauty") new difficult movie "Towelhead."

One critic described this examination of the emotionally fraught border between teenage sexuality and child abuse as "so painful it's almost impossible to watch."

My reaction was just the opposite. I found it so painful I couldn't take my eyes off the screen.
