Istiklal Street is a pedestrian (and streetcar) only street off Taksim Square. It's the heart of Istanbul's nightlife district and it was mobbed on Saturday night.
It's fun watching Turkish people dance at discos. Very dramatic moves. Lots of big arms and foot stomping. They're definitely playing to the back row.
And at the discos everyone dances. No lookie-loos.
