Spent Thursday evening at a meeting of the Los Angeles Chapter of the American Jewish Committee making a presentation on Proposition 87.
It was great to be in yet another room of Californians interested in learning about a proposition before they vote on it.
What surprised me about this room of 40 people was the great diversity in ages -- from folks in their early 20s to ladies and gentlemen of a certain age. That's all too rare.
Most meetings I go to the people are all roughly one age -- young, middle age or old. So it was nice to see some conversations between the generations going on.
