My take on pop culture. Where I go. What I do. Nothing too heavy. Is it interesting? You decide.

I didn't know what to expect at the security lines at LAX today. It all went smoothly. The longest line I faced was for the Rental Car Shuttle at the San Jose Mineta Airport.
Ted, I was on two flights last weekend: one out of Chicago's O'Hare (one of the world's two busiest airports) and the other out of Minneapolis/St. Paul. I usually never check my bags, but given that I have toothpaste, contact lens solution, shaving cream, etc., I decided to check bags at both airports.
Much to my surprise, from the time I arrived at each airport to the time I checked said bags, checked in for my flights and breezed through security, it took a total of 15 minutes at both airports.
With all the people opting to check bags, I think it's a boon toward getting into the gate area more quickly. As for picking up bags on the other end, I managed to only wait another 20 minutes.
