Poor Dodgers First Baseman Nomar Garciaparra has been hit by a pitch five times in the last four games -- including twice tonight by Giants pitchers.
There's no way that's accidental. With three more games to go this weekend between the Dodgers and the Giants it could get ugly.
At least Nomar found out today he was elected to the National League All-Star Team. Perhaps that takes a little of the sting away.
