After my meeting today I had a chance to walk around the Pearl District -- an old part of Portland that used to be industrial but now is primarily residential and retail.

I had an excellent lunch at Harry's Tavern. Dispite this picture, it was NOT a liquid lunch. This restaurant is located in the "Brewery Blocks" of the Pearl District. I'm going out on a limb here, but I'm guessing there used to be breweries in this part of town. The restaurant looks like it could be located in a former brewery.
