Spent a miserably cold and wet evening at Dodger Stadium tonight for an exhibition pre-season game between the Dodgers and Angels.
They started the game in the rain and it rained steadily through the first two innings. It stopped for awhile but started raining very hard during the eighth inning. The umpires put the game into rain delay for about thirty minutes before calling the game.
As you can see from the photo above, by the time they brought out the tarp in the eighth inning most folks had headed for the exits.
Since the bottom half of the eighth inning wasn't played, the run scored by the Angels in the top half of the inning was erased and the final score was a 6-6 tie.
