I know I'm a little behind in my blogging. The hectic pace of my time in Western Europe took its toll and I've been catching my breath since arriving in Istanbul late Thursday night.
The City of Istanbul literally straddles the continents of Europe and Asia, separated by the Bosphorus which connects the Black Sea with the Mediterranean Ocean.
The Bosphorus Bridge (above) is one of the bridges connecting the two sides.
The photo above is from my hotel's rooftop, on the European side.
But first let's catch up on my adventures before arriving in Istanbul...
