As predicted, fan conduct during tonight's $2 Tuesday promotion at Dodger Stadium was a complete disaster.
Three fans ran on the field -- two at the start of the sixth inning and one after the game was over. And fans in the Pavilions were constantly fighting.
At least the Dodgers beat the Nationals 4 to 2.
Last night when they showed Councilmember Antonio Villaraigosa on the DodgerVision screen (before his driver nearly ran me over) there was hardly any reaction from the crowd. Obviously, few people recognized him or cared enough to cheer or boo.
In contrast, at tonight's game there was a huge favorable reaction when they showed both Tone - Loc and Coolio in one of the Luxury Suites.
I'm thinking don't bet on a big turnout for the May 17th Mayoral runoff election.
